The Mediterranean resort of Olu Deniz is 12 kms. from Fethiye and takes its name from the beautiful blue lagoon and a beautiful beach that adorns almost every Turkish travel brochure.

The beach at Oludeniz offers a huge variety of watersports, there is paragliding from Babadag Mountain onto the beach below, and a selection of boat trips depart regularly from Oludeniz or Fethiye for a day exploring the scenic coastline.

The beach itself stretches for several miles, but the most popular section is the lagoon with its stunning backdrop of mountains and pine forest.

This area has been designated a National Park and there is a small entrance charge, but it is well worth paying – there are shaded areas suitable for picnicking, showers and snack bars.

Beautiful sun drenched beaches, deep turquoise blue sea and nothing but sun shine for all year around...

Along the seafront there is a pedestrianised boulevard where there are many bars and restaurants.

The atmosphere is very informal and relaxed here, making it ideal for sun-worshippers and family holidays.

There are many things to do in Calis, there are water sports including windsurfing, waterskiing and scuba diving available at the beach, and a specialist surf school.

There is also an aqua park with pools, slides and entertainment.

Outside of Calis Beach there are boat trips, a trip to Dalyan and the mud baths, paragliding from Babadag Mountain in Olu Deniz, a trip to Kayakoy a deserted village, Saklikent where you can walk through the gorge, and the list goes on.
